Guest TaraCoachCougar
Cougs went to the vet for his corn removal today after his last trip 4 weeks ago. I could tell he wasn't quite as bothered by them as he has been previous times. By four weeks, he is usually walking with his front legs splayed out like a tent (corns on both front feet). The last week or so he has stayed at a stance with his front legs pulled more back which indicates the severity of the pain is less. I've been able to use the Abreeva more consistently than I have before and I am hoping that is what is making the difference. They were also able to scale off the tartar of his gum line without any sedation. (Another whole history on that one.) So now he's getting a deramaxx for corn removal inflamation as well as gum swelling and irritation and a round of antibiotics for the scaling. We are looking forward to a good couple of weeks. And I'm going to try to up the Abreeva applications to see if we can continue to get smaller and less frequent corn reoccurence. Man, it's nice to finally have something positive to post in health and medical!

MandysMom
Yay Cougar! I know Mandy's corns have sort of settled down to where we have to get them hulled every 4-6 weeks. The Abreva and Kerasolv seem to help with her feet. Quote Beverly.
