Guest SusanP Posted October 10, 2008 Share Posted October 10, 2008 Spinner's toe (nail yanked out and part of bone chopped off over a week ago) isn't healing very quickly. . Since it was still oozing blood the other day, the vet kept him on antibiotics and Tramadol for another week. The foot is to stay bandaged and dry. But the oozing isn't changing. Is there something I can use directly on the toe to speed healing? I have Betagen spray and silver sulfadiazine cream. There's also good old zinc oxide. Would they be of any use?
