Muriel
Hi all, I've read some of the postings regarding runny eyes, etc. but they don't quite describe my situation. My Ginger has one eye that has bothered her off and on since I've had her (1 yr now!). She paws at it, as if it itches, and it weeps. It has now become a rather chronic situation. The vet found nothing wrong and recommend a dog ophtamologist, especially since she has a birth mark on her iris. The specialist found nothing either but indicated that her eye spot was a little raised but that would not be the cause of the irritation. She indicated that I should look to see if she gets into anything or if it's a reaction to something. I don't see anything out of the ordinary and why is it only happening to 1 eye. The corner of her eye where the tear duct is looks like the source to me. Any other similar experiences out there. Meanwhile, I have a cream that I can put on it. Thanks, Muriel

Muriel
To be honest, I don't put it on regularly enough to know but I have since yesterday and will try to see if it makes a difference. Did your dog paw at the eye often?
