Guest WarmheartedPups Posted October 20, 2007 Share Posted October 20, 2007 I woke up this a.m. and Roo has a swollen nipple....the nipple its self is almost the size around as my baby finger....not quite and the soft tissue around one side is a tiny bit swollen about the size of a dime. Is this something I can treat at home with hot packs? or is this a take her to the WET now....or can it wait till Monday? Help is appreciated! You can always call the vet today while they are open and see if the doc will give any advice until Monday. Then if its the same or worse on Monday, make an appt. Burpdog Posted October 20, 2007 Share Posted October 20, 2007 I'd make an appointment for Monday. You can always cancel. Usually, sudden swelling indicates infection or bite (or both).
