Guest greyhound_mommy
A lady at the gym said she took her four pups to the lake and three came home with what the vet called "foot fungus" she said that she treated them with anti-biotics and cream. All got better but one. She said his paw is swollen and seems very sore. The vet told her to keep it soaked in bleach water. She said that it seems like it is painful for him to stand on and you can see it is stretched from being so swollen. Any thoughts? Has anyone had any experience with this so called foot fungus? She's concerned. I am giving her some antibacterial soap from my vet to clean it with. Thanks
Burpdog
I've not heard of it. At this point the foot sounds like it may be infected and needs antibiotics. I'd get a second opinion. Quote Diane & The Senior Gang Burpdog Biscuits
Guest meakah
If the others have healed and the one hasn't...I would take that one back to get it checked again. Perhaps there is a cut or something that has gotten infected.
