Guest ddsgreys
Time to buy more flea meds and I was checking out Revolution, I usually use Frontline or Advantage but see this is a worm prevention as well. Any comments!!!
Burpdog
It has the highest adverse reaction rate of all current heartworm preventatives. Quote Diane & The Senior Gang Burpdog Biscuits
Guest momofevie
I've used it without any problems for the past year. Vet recommended it.
Guest LynnM
It works well and if you prefer a topical med, is something worth discussing with your vet. I've used it and been happy with it. The worst downside for me was its price. Lynn
Guest cleo570
We've used it for over a year without any problems and will continue to use it. Apparently, it is not as good a flea/tick repellent as some of the other topicals, so if you live in a very wooded area or if your pup spends a lot of time in tall grass, our vet recommends using two different drugs: one for the heartworm and a different one for the fleas and ticks. My sister has 3 golden retrievers and swears by Revolution, but does get pretty expensive, especially for 3 big dogs.
Burpdog
If you do a search in this category for Revolution (search button on top), you will find a lot of threads. I remember in one or two threads that some vets won't use it due to dogs showing up hw positive. Guest RosiesMom
We've used it without any trouble (except for when Rosie decided to rub it off on the brand new couch ) for a year.
