Guest ss556
Alan has pannus, so he takes his drops daily. However, when he's really uptight about getting them or not feeling well that day, I will skip that time. But whether he gets the drops or not, he has a thick discharge (gak) like we would get in the corner of his eyes, mostly his left eye. I remove it at least once or maybe twice a day. Should I be concerned or it is "normal"?
Guest maryjo79
Spud and Sadie get that too, although I think it's due to normal seasonal pollens and such. Allergies have been bad this year. As long as it's not green and the eye doesn't look infected, I wouldn't be too worried. But I've never had to deal with Pannus.
Guest ss556
Thanks, I won't run to the specialist, but will tell my vet this week when Alan goes in for blood work. The allergies here have been horrific too. Thanks, MaryJo
Guest maryjo79
Hope Alan's bloodwork all comes back normal. He's never far from my thoughts
