Guest Oh_Greyt Posted May 28, 2007 Share Posted May 28, 2007 (edited) When Nina came home almost two weeks ago, she had a bald spot on her chest (more her sternum) from laying in the kennel for several weeks. When we first met her she did not have this - she's got hair everywhere, she's a very hairy girl, so she's very "padded". I figured the hair would easily grow back once we got her home and she had beds to lay on. But instead, it's getting red and irritated. Our carpet is very rough/course, and she lays on it a lot instead of her beds. I'm thinking about putting a t-shirt on her for a few weeks, but I'm worried that she'll be too hot because she's so hairy already! Is there anything else I could do? Should I just leave it alone (but I don't want her to have this big irritation on her underside!). Has anyone else experienced this?
