  1. Our sweet, sweet Gracie was diagnosed with Osteo in the rear leg on Thanksgiving. She's not a candidate for amputation since her other rear leg does not work due to a racing injury. We are doing pamidronate treatment in addition to codeine for pain.

She is doing greyt...you would never even know she has cancer! I'm wondering if anyone here has any experience with the pamidronate treatments?

  2. Elwood, I did not know you personally, but was told how sweet and loving you were. There were many people searching for you and hoping beyond hope to bring you home. I was one of those people. You were loved by many. I know you are now warm and safe, running at the rainbow bridge with those that passed before you.

I love you Elwood. :cry1 Run Free Sweet boy. :gh_run

  3. Hi There,

Yes, there are Greyhounds in Peeksill!!! Lots of 'em.

Come to the Petsmart in Mohegan Lake this Saturday from 10-2, Greyhound Rescue and Rehab, the local adoption group is doing a meet and greet there. We get volunteers from the Peeksill area and I'm sure you can ask them about vets.

I am chairing the event. Hope to see you there!!

Heal quickly sweetie! Oh, and make sure mommy gives you lots of :dogcookie

  5. Hi from NY. :wave

Where in VT are you? We vacation in the Killington area a lot and end up having a 'greyhound parade' on the access road each summer. Around 5-8 greyhounds and their owners. There are not a lot of people around during that time of year, but those that do drive by slow down to see all the pups. :)
