I am so sorry.

Two years ago we lost our 19 year old beagle girl. Two nights after she died, my daughter and myself both heard what we were sure was her crying and the sound of her tags. This was in the middle of the night and we were both asleep and both opened our bedroom doors at the exact same time and said, "Did you just hear Sammy girl?" Just as trevdog said above, windows were closed and it was very quiet in our house.
