How horrible!
You're all in our thoughts and prayers.

So sorry to hear of your loss. Thinking about you.

Wonderful tribute to your baby girl! I'm sure she ran into my Sandy on the way in and they're up there setting everyone straight as we speak.
Sorry for your loss. I know how hard it is. She had a long life.

We'll miss you so much, baby girl! Keep 'em on their toes up there, and say hi to Bruiser for us!

We love you, Bruise! Thanks for the memories, and for teaching us so much!

HB's Commander was just inducted in 1999 (he died in 1995) for his prolific stud work and winning offspring. He himself was injured early on and stopped racing at age 28 months!
Elizabeth, thanks for posting this. I've always wondered just how long he raced, etc.

BRUISER (Isa Comander To)
Sire - HB's Commander
Dam - CC Bianca
SANDY (NSK Special Up)
Sire - Sports Special
Dam - Up She Flew*
BUDDY - no idea, was part of an accidental litter.
There sure are a lot of HB's Commander's offspring on here.
We had a total of three fosters so far; two of the three were also of his lineage.

That's exactly how Sandy's "undercarriage" looked after she fell down a flight of stairs on Memorial Day weekend.
Took about 2 weeks to completely go away.
Looks scarey, doesn't it?

I would love to start experimenting with food again.
Buddy (the only one here who isn't on Prescription Diet for something!) is and has always eaten Iams Mini Chunks. When we adopted our first grey, the adoption group recommended it. I've tried to switch him several times, but he ALWAYS gets infected and impacted anal glands. We've tried Pro Plan, and, after reading the prior food posts on here, Nutro (the small sized kibble). The Nutro was the worst glad problem we've experienced. Any suggestions on how to avoid this problem? I'd love to try Innova or Natural Blend.
Also, anyone know of something to use in place of Science Diet's Prescription Diet k/d? Both of our seniors are on it.
Thanks
My Poor Boy...
