Is It Normal For Vets To Charge A Prescription Fee?

I think that if you go to your vet for a regular visit and blood test. Any prescription for medication needed during that visit should be included in the high cost of the visit. I mean, let’s face it, it’s not like taking your animals to see the vet is cheap in anyway.
