We adopted our girl Annie about 3 months ago. She’s sweet, playful, and somewhat obedient when inside the apartment.
That being said we have difficulties taking her for walks. We more or less need to drag her into the foyer. Once here, she will follow us into the lift. On the walk itself, she has improved a lot. We are able to handle the freezing quite well.
What is strange about the above situation is the fact that Annie is happy to sometimes follow us out the door and into the lift when we aren’t taking her for a walk. This just happened again this morning. I had to force her outside, we went for a walk. I returned and my GF had to leave for work about 5 minutes later, she followed her out the door and would have went into the lift if I didn’t restrain her.
Yesterday, when did she this, I decided to put the harness and lead on her to see if she’d actually go down. She did!
Has anyone had any similar issues or experiences, or can anyone offer any advice?
