  1. Is one turkey neck considered a "meal"? What about chicken feet? Should they be fed as a meal, or on top of regular food? I think Kassie would Love these, I'm just not too sure how much/often to feed.
  2. Hi had this exact issue with kass when I brought her home in February (and posted about it on the GRA board). I took down the wall mirrors in my room (where her bed was initially) and closed the doors to our bathrooms and other rooms. She would look at herself in the reflection in the fridge sometimes and in reflections in cars. She seemed to really believe it was another dog, and used it as her "safety". After about a month, she's settled in a bit more and wants to be with people, I've put the mirrors back up. She was interested when she saw her reflections again, and wags her tail still, but isn't obsessive about it. So, I guess what I'm saying is I'd limit her exposure to the mirrors for a bit.. until she can trust her new environment a little more.. then slowly start re-introducing them. She'll realize that it's not another do soon enough and tire of them!
  3. Oh! Hahaha! The cotton puffs + green tape were covering the latches where I have floor-to-ceiling mirrors. They're back up now, but we took them down shortly after Kass came home because she was obsessed with them and would not leave my room. She's perfectly fine with them now. I just didn't want her tearing her skin on the latches.. so I improvised!
  4. We're in Pickering.. so a little far from Kitchener- but who knows, I might make a trip to meet different greys! So sorry I forgot a vital piece of information: her racing name was Sendahl Kass.
  5. Hello to the wide world of Greytalk! Malori here- long time creeper, first time poster! I am the wonderfully proud momma of my first grey- Kassie. She's 2.5 and such a joy! We're from Ontario, Canada and have loved meeting people through our adoption group's website (GRA). I read pretty much everyday (most times multiple times a day) and am so glad to have found this wonderfully helpful community! Thank you everyone for this wealth of information! I'm sure I'll be talking to you soon Of course.. pictures are a must: (first night home) (first stuffy... not a big fan. "Where's the hidden in this pig?") ("I thinks I likes my backyard!") ("yepp.. Defimitly!") (obligatory roach picture)
