  1. So sorry that your beloved Bee Wiseman (always loved her name) had to leave you. She was a beautiful greyhound, and you gave her a wonderful life.May she send you a sign that all is well, and -------you will be together again someday. :f_pink

  2. MY 6 YR.OLD LAB SARGE HAD HIS RIGHT FRONT LEG AMPUTATED 4 DAYS AGO,DUE TO SOFT TISSUE SARCOMA. I HAVE BEEN VISITING HIM AT THE VET HOSPITAL EVERY DAY, AND HE HAS BEEN AS WELL AS EXPECTED AFTER THE AMPUTATION. HE WAS SUPPOSE TO COME HOME TODAY, BUT I GOT A PHONE CALL THIS MORNING THAT HE HAD A SEIZURE, AND THEY WERE GOING TO WATCH HIM FOR 12-24 HRS.I RECEIVED TWO MORE PHONE CALLS TELLING ME HE HAD A 2ND AND 3RD SEIZURE. HE IS IN ICU NOW FOR THE NIGHT. THEY DON'T KNOW WHAT CAUSING THEM, AND SAID IT COULD HAVE BEEN CAUSED FROM STRESS.THIS FEELS LIKE A BAD NIGHTMARE. PLEASE FIND TIME TO SAY A PRAYER FOR SARGE.HIS GREYHOUND BROTHER WIZARD NEEDS HIM TO COME HOME.

  3. Someone on this forum once posted helpful information and pictures, of what to expect post amputation. My dog is having his right leg amputated on friday. I would like to look at that information now, if anyone knows what I am talking about. thank you very much

  4. It felt more like a massage than a nail trim. My husband ws thrown off the couch twice by Sioux the shy boy when we did his nails at first. Some GH hate to have nail trims. I put it off as long as I can and I am a vet tech. They usually behave better for others than a family member. Enjoy the dremmel Sioux runs from it and we learned not to puch the issue. My sister does nail trims in my house on all 5 dogs for us and she is a correctional officer in a prison.
