  1. We had three cats and a german shepard when we brought Red home, right off the track. After a couple of sniffs and one good back hand from mommy cat he could care less. By the end of the month my Boo kitty was nest under his arms, you could see it in his eyes he was not happy but he dealt with it.

Never a problem didn't chase them once unless Chillens' stole a piece of chicken from his bowl.

  2. Best of luck, sound a little tricky. I know once you sprain your ankle your prone to do it all the time. Would a small wrap work just when she went out. I know greys have to run but this is the reason I freak out when red breaks into a full sprint, and the fact he turned 11 yrs.

Best of luck keep us posted and again huge hugs for your pup hope she comes home fine...FROSTY PAWS MOM!!!

  3. Very nice words for your pup,so hard to know when, but mom and dad are the only ones that know when and you did the right thing. My heart aches for you guys, huge hugs from Boston.

    Run free puppa

  4. Sorry to hear Red isn't feeling well. Yes, it could be reverse sneezing, allergies, etc. I, too, would take him into see the vet for a "30.000 mile check-up :)" ... just to be sure his heart and lungs are ok.

Here is a video clip of reverse sneezing that might help. http://www.petplace.com/dogs/reverse-sneezing-in-dogs/page1.aspx

Sending love and hugs Red's way!

    Thanks everyone.

Setting an appointment up with vet. Look into the reverse sneezing and that looks like what it is..I hope. But you never can be sure so well head of to see Dr M.

    Peace

  5. This morning red woke and couldn't catch his breath. After a couple minutes he seemed fine. Did his run his biz out in the yard, had his snack and back to bed. It seeems really hard for him to get comfortable, he lay for a for a couple of minutes then try another bed and plop down, not lay down but plop. When he sleeps though he is out and sounds fine. He still runs out of control, diet, weight everything is normal except for the breathing and plopping. He did just lose his best bud but has taken up well with the other grey and have become very close. Ever seen this before is there something eles I can check or should be looking for ? He just turned 11yrs old

    Thanks

  6. So sorry Mary, you did the right thing for your little boy. Run free Freddy Mommy loves you; I just called Jiffy peanut butter and ordered a tractor trailer full of peanut butter to the bridge, should be there this afternoon

  7. He's gone, suddenly. Grand mal seizure followed by a stroke.

Thank you Jordan, Janet W and the whole team of wonderful people who transported Little Dude with Chevy from New England last November. Little Dude helped to heal the hole in our hearts left by Niña's passing. He was a quirky little man. My favorite nickname for him was Rodent because he barely had any hair on his tail and loved to burrow under the bed covers.

Little Dude, go find Bandit and Niña...........and all the others......

In the morning I would either find him this way:

    Or this way:

How is it the littlest dog can make the biggest hole in your heart?

Oh Ducky I am sorry to hear of your loss of Dude :angelwings

Dear Macoduck so sorry to hear of 'little dude' he really loked like a sweetheart.

Huge hugs from my crew in Boston.

    Again I'm sorry

  8. After five years my bride reclaimed the queen size bed Brin took over when he came home. Two nights ago she woke in a cold sweat crying her eyes yelling for me. I rush in can, 'can you smell him; oh my GoD smell him!'

That lead to another sleepless night, she did finally fall asleep with what to me looked like a smile on her face.

They are all around us I think so.
