    Who is ready for Mountain Hounds 2021?

    Its that time of year again. Registrations for Mountain Hounds 2021 are now open, This will be our 17th year (yes 17 years!!) that the best little event you will ever attend will be held. Mountain Hounds is in the beautiful Smoky Mountains of Gatlinburg TN! And we would love :beatheart :beatheart for you and your greyhound :ghplaybow to join us!

    Dates: Thursday June 3rd- Sunday June 6th, 2021

    We start on Thursday with registration. seeing old friends and making new friends, :cheers, pizza dinner at Mynatt Park and Bingo, 2 Walks through town, vending, seminars and lots of FUN!!! :mexi2 :balloonparty We keep on going until you can't go anymore! So come well rested :nappy !!! There is also shopping at vending, games, shopping, costume contest, the Mountain Hounds Hustle :gh_runner , shopping. and lots more to do. Did I mention shopping?!? :gh_bow

     

    And we will be having sponsorships for the poo stations again this year for the low cost of $25.00.

     

    And what happens in Gatlinburg stays in Gatlinburg!!

    Be on the lookout for the yearly countdown in the future by Macy Louise, who is Maddie and Millie's little sister and is going to keep up the countdown tradition.   As of today there are 143 days to go. :bounce8

    We will also have a sign painting class that you can sign up for you to paint your own greyhound or dog related sign for the cost of $30.00. Each class is limited to 15 people.

    The 1st class is on Wednesday May 29th from 3:30 pm--5:30 pm.

    The 2nd class is on Friday May 31st from 4:00 pm-6:00 pm.

    This is your chance to bring home your own souvenir that you created yourself.

    Hi houndz and humans

     

    It's me Millie here to update u on the countdown. We are now under a month til Mountain Hounds 2018. To be exact we have 27 days. Who is ready? Mommy says she is and so I am. Got to run as I need to count my pennies to see how much I will have for vending, silent auction and ice cream on the bounds on parade walk and TOYS FOR ME! (But don't tell my Mommy about the toys. It's a secret. As I can con my Mom to buy me stuff by putting on my sad dog eyes look lol)

    Blue Buffalo Purchased By General Mills

    Blue Buffalo is located in my hometown of Wilton, CT and I was shocked when my Mom sent my brother and I an email announcing this. I went to high school with both of the Bishop boys. I know their family well and they are the most down to earth people. They owed SOBE drinks in the early 2000 and sold that as well. I hope that people I know there will not be laid off due to General Mills buying them.

    I am thinking of maybe attending Gig this year. I have never been and would love to see the history of Gettysburg as well. I do have a question in regard to the event on Saturday night are the ghs able to attend as well or is it a people only event. Is there anything that is a do not miss while I am there? Do most people stay at the Eisenhower? Thanks in advance.
