Oh, Jen, we're so sorry. You've gone the absolute extra mile to give Neyla every chance, but you and she know it's time. Know that Neyla will be pain-free and waiting across the bridge. We have you in our thoughts, and Charlotte gives one last virtual lickie to her foster mentor (and to you, her foster mommie). And another for Zuri, just because.

Friendship Animal Hospital
Dr. Rebecca Bolch
4105 Brandywine Street Northwest
Washington D.C., DC 20016
(202) 363-7300
open 24/7
As a friend put it, "Cadillac prices for Cadillac service." Dr. Bolch (Becky) is a greyhound adopter, but all the staff are savvy on greyhound protocols. The practice is open 24/7, and equipped to handle all emergencies. We started using them for our diabetic cat Emily, , and they see our greys Charlotte & Declan, plus our 2 cats.

Congratulations! Tell Neyla her former foster sister Charlotte sends lickies and wags and further good thoughts.

Jen,
Julie and Penny of Big Bad Woof can recommend someone, I believe. Check their website www.thebigbadwoof.com; if I'm there this weekend and see them, I'll also ask.
Hopefully you'll find someone who will give you and Neyla what you need.

Not long after we got Declan, he got into the trash (step-on lid) and ate 2 corn cobs. (Charlotte never got into anything, so we didn't think to worry about anything.) The next day, they came out the other end (mostly) whole, which made for *very* interesting poop. I've always been thankful that he didn't end up with abrasions or hemorrhoids . We now weight down the trash lid with our pet first aid bag.
