    I Think Frontline Is Stressing Her Out

    My Vinnie had a reaction to Frontline... big, strawberry-colored blotches. We used Advantage for him. He was allergic to Heartguard. Go figure :rolleyes:

     

    We don't use anything now since they aren't outside that much. If I needed anything, I will give a bath in Pert and use a flea comb like I did for the cat. He didn't do well with chemicals either :lol

    Just seeing this................I am so sorry. You and he both learned a lot in the past year and I'll bet he wondered a thousand times, "Why couldn't I have come here sooner?" The best teachers are the best learners. Thank you for being both. :grouphug :grouphug :grouphug

    Ruby Has An Enlarged Spleen

    Well, crap, Nancy. (I echo Ellen's sentiments)

     

    Red had an enlarged spleen. :(

     

    I am going to send more good wishes for Ruby. As long as she keeeps eating, you should be good. Maybe her spleen won't get any bigger.

    I'm glad Albi is feeling a little better, but like you, I thought he'd be doing better than this by now. I don't know about phantom pain, but metacam has been a blessing to my puppers when they needed relief. We have not have the tramadol results most have had. If the gabapentin isn't getting the resluts he needs, do ask about the others. Sounds like you have docs with differing opinions.

     

    I don't remember... how old is Albi now? In my mind he's still a youngster :)

    Such a beautiful boy and sweet soul. Tony found comfort with you. Now he has peace as well. He and Dottie were a team. Though I can only imagine how difficult this was for you, Diane, Tony and Dot needed to go together and they told you so. You had no other choice.

    Dottie rediscovered her zest for life when she came to live with you at Casa de Burpdog. She was always a hoot, emptying closets of shoes and barking commands at Tony. (my fav pic ever, btw) I am glad you and she were able to meet, Diane, and I am comforted to know that you were there with her when she left.

    Godspeed Bossy girl. The bridge has a new sense of order today.
