Been looking for a food with lower kcal/cup than I'm feeding for my senior guy. He needs to loose weight, but can't really exercise much and has been cut back on his food until anymore and he goes crazy looking for food. Just went to the vet b/c of coughing and vet said his heart sounds fine, but says he has a collapsed trachea which is common in small breeds. He said added weight makes it worse. So he needs to loose about 2lbs. He is 22lbs now. Since buying small bags, cost more per lb, I wanted a food that Casper and Circe can eat too since they tend to be fattys and would also benefit for lower calories. Plus I can buy the big bag w/o worrying about it going bad before being finished. Casper can't have chicken, wheat, corn, soy, potatoes.
