Guest Trentsmom
My 3 yr old boy has been panting for about 30 minutes and every minute or so does a cross between a reverse sneeze and a hicup. He doesn't want water but was furiously eating grass for about 10 minutes. He's now lying down but still panting and has not vomited. His dinner was about 3 hours ago. Any ideas? Guest boondog
Has he tried to vomit without success? Does his abdomen seem hard or distended? If so, he needs to see a vet immediately. Otherwise, I would probably keep an eye on him for a bit. Hopefully, someone more knowledgeable about this will chime in soon. I don't know what bloat looks or feels like, but he didn't seem to be bothered when my husband felt of his stomach. Now he's resting and has stopped panting. Hopefully whatever it was has passed.
