I've heard of some dogs being allergic to the internal suture material and some being allergic to the outer suture material but I haven't seen a dog post spay look like this afterwards. BauersMom Posted January 10, 2010 Author Share Posted January 10, 2010 Well, blood work looked fine. Vet wants us to keep an eye on it, but other than that, no real idea what it is or what caused it.
