Guest Greyt_dog_lover
My little guy Bart has been limping off and on for the last 3 days. He hurt his toe while running zoomies around the yard tuesday night. His outside left toe was swollen. Today I took him to the vet, had xrays taken. No break, fracture, or otherwise observable injury other than soft-tissue damage. He also has had a rash in his groin area for a few weeks that I had the vet look at. It appears that he has some skin infection so the vet put Bart on Cephalexin (500) for an antibiotic, Betagen spray to stop the licking, and Rimadyl (75) for pain management/anti-inflamation. I hope Bart doesnt have any adverse reaction to the Rimadyl. Thanks to Batmom (Jey) and others that gave me advice.
