Guest Scouts_mom
Someone's post that I just read said that they wanted to hear some good news for a change so here goes. I have been smiling about this for several days. About 18 months ago, my adoption group received a young boy named Ohio. Unfortunately when he arrived at the vet for his operation, he jumped out of the car and broke a hind leg. He was rushed in and it was discovered that this sweet, lovely boy had bone cancer. Well his leg was amputated, he was given chemotherapy and he went on to find a forever home. This last Sunday we had a Houndwash fundraiser and I had the privilege to help bathe Ohio. Ohio remains cancer-free and is a wonderful lively little boy! I had to look a second and third time to realize there was anything different about him. Missing a leg has not slowed him down at all. He is a happy boy, and while he wasn't thrilled with the bath, he had a wonderful time playing with the other dogs!
