Guest chubbster Posted May 3, 2008 Share Posted May 3, 2008 Sending prayers! They seem pretty greyhound savvy at Penn, so I am hoping they know this too. The students were all over the moon with Phoenix when he went for his preop visit, I am betting he is getting a lot of TLC. (our neighbor is a vet student there) We have been extremely happy with Penn. We had a couple of other options, but the surgeon we met had lots of experience with greys. Please tell your neighbor that Phoenix is doing well so far and that we appreciate all that thay have done for him. We heard that he would only eat for one particular nurse When I came down to check on him this am, he was just layng there with his tail wagging and wagging. We went out for a p&p and went right back to sleep. He looks as if he has a little pocket of fluid hanging down in his chest area. I didn't notice that yesterday so I am going to call Penn.
