That is so,so sad. Poor baby. :(:f_pink

 

 

It could also be something undiagnosed that may have been going on that even labs wouldn't have picked up.

As has been said,surgery will always have risks,and even a 'routine' surgery can lead to something very sad happening. I'm very sorry about this Mickie37,and my deepest sympathies to all who knew Birdie. :grouphug

 

 

It is surprising to me to read that many adoption groups don't have the preliminary blood work done.

Aren't pre-anesthesia labs protocol? I mean,from the stand point of the veterinarians' requirements?
