    Thank you all so much for your kind words and thoughts, It means so much to me.

    Today has been so hard, One of my other cats was doing something they shouldnt have been and I said "Spyro stop it" and then it hit me alll over again that she has gone :weep

    The pain I feel right now is so hard to deal with. I just cant believe that she has gone.

    My beloved Devon Rex cat Spyro passed yesterday, I am completely devastated :weep:weep

    Sunday we noticed she wasn't well so I took her to the E-Vet and spent 4 hours there, She was very anemic and was put on oxygen, she was almost in a coma,they think she had a brain tumor but weren't sure, After much discussion with the vet and phone calls to my husband at home we decided to let her go to the bridge, when we went to get her she was sitting up and when I called her name she started to purr, so we decided to see how she went overnight, she seemed to do well overnight and I was anxious to see her that morning, by the time I got there around 10am she had gotten worse, the vet said it might be time to let her go. My husband couldn't leave work to be with us, so I held her and told her how much I loved her, Spyro was the first pet my husband and I got as a couple. It was so hard to let her go, One day I had her and she was fine and the next she was gone, I have 4 other cats and its amazing how empty I feel, I can hardly see the keys I am crying so much.

    I just hope there will come a time I can think of her and not feel so heartbroken. :brokenheart

     

    I miss you my sweet miss swiss (her nickname)

    Some of you might remember earlier this summer I really wanted to get my Greyhound, I had my Dad visit from Australia and other things going on so I decided to wait. Well the months seem to take forever and I thought I was going to go :crazy Well as the saying goes "good things come to those who wait" This morning I got my baby!

    His name is Flash, he is almost 4 and just gorgeous. He had only been in the house a few hours before one of my cats was sleeping next to his crate, . He is still nervous and we are taking things slow, I just turned around to check on him in his crate and he is roaching :wub:

    Sorry no pictures yet but will post some as soon as I can, I was just so excited to introduce Flash to everyone.

    :weep:weep Oh Judy I am so very very sorry, As you know both Emmy and Andy affected me in a special way, Just today I got their framed picture and put in on my wall, Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful babies with me.

    WOW! Your house is Gorgeous! I love the master bedroom. I hope you can eventually settle in and enjoy it there.

     

     

    Did you look at the pictures of their actual house? Or the ones of the $1.5 million house we are all pitching in $100 for instead?

     

    I was just about to ask the same thing, Yeap master bedroom in the $1.5 million house is gorgeous, The "real house" not so good!

    Judy I have only been on GT for a short time and dont even have my grey yet but I have been following Emmy's journey and have been thinking and praying for her and you everyday. It probably doesnt help much but just wanted you to know I am thinking of both of you. :grouphug:grouphug
