  1. Want something to do with your hound? Sandy Paws – Greyt Fun in the Sun hosted by Greythound Guardians is held March 7-10, 2019 at beautiful Jekyll Island, GA. Headquarters will be Villas by the Sea Conference Center. Come join us for “Festival of the Greyhound”.
    Weekend event has seminars, venders and lots more. Check out the web site or the Facebook page.
    Registration is now open. www.sandypaws.org Just click on the REGISTRATION link at the top of the page. There is also a Friday evening dinner, Saturday we will crown our King and Queen, cookies for hound and human and the big live auction.

    All paid registrants will receive a tote bag filled with goodies.
    The committee has been hard at work to bring you new seminars and new vendors for this year. Bingo (with prizes) will be Thursday evening and a new game is set for Fri evening. Live Auction is on Sat evening. The raffles and live auction help us generate funds so that expenses may be met and Grants disbursed to greyhound groups in need. Perhaps your group has been a beneficiary!

    The tentative schedule is up. As an added surprise, we have a new game (with prizes) on Sat. afternoon.

  3. This is a sad time for the greyhound community. But imagine all the happy dogs at the rainbow bridge waiting to greet Kathleen.

     

    The Gilley's were at the very first Sandy Paws and a few other times. They were also the recipients of one of the very first Greythound Guardian Angle Awards. A well deserved honor!

     

    Rest in Peace Kathleen and my you find peace in your memories, Gil.
