On April 29, 2006, while many greyhound folk in our area, (including Minty's foster mom) were at GIG; Miss Minty, (formerly Mighty Mint) joined our family.
She seemed so small..in comparison to the two boys that were now watching down from Rainbow's Bridge..and so quiet and timid in that first month. She'd whine over anything..and "hide" by covering her eyes..."I don't see that scary leash/brush/bowl/noise/window."
But patience..(and a few tears shed by mom) and she evolved into the shoe stealing; cuddlebug; goofy and very vocal..and very loved, member of the family.
And..she gets to go to GIG now too.... that's one of her vacations..and total one on one time with Mom and Dad.
