It is so hard to watch them suffer in the least bit, but how wonderful he got to make that major decision about chemo on his own. I watch family members go against all that their loved one wished for themselves in near-death experiences all the time. It really makes me cringe. What a wonderful picture thinking about your Mom and Dad strolling slowly, holding hands, with their free hands petting the hounds walking with them. Rest in Peace, Peepaw! May your journey be swift.
