Guest greyhoundude Posted May 25, 2004 Share Posted May 25, 2004 Steel (HR’s Holdin’ On): April 3, 1995 - May 24, 2004 Steel passed away Monday, May 24 at 5 PM. He had not been responding to veterinary treatment and, at the recommendation of the staff at the Oregon State University Vet college, was euthanized to prevent further suffering. He had a wonderful, gentle personality and a huge heart. Steel, along with Rush (who passed on April 8), made the perfect "meet & greet" team at greyhound adoption events. I'll miss him very much.
