Today is the 10th of January...one year ago this day was the last day of

your life with us...you still enjoyed your breakfast, I took you to your

favorite pasture and throw your beloved tennis ball, you stumbled slowly as your

steps had become insecure due to your disease, but there was still that

slight spark in your eyes, when you brought that ball back to me... when

we walked back to the car, you fell off your side and you could hardly jump

into the car, you fell off the back seat and I knew that my decision was well

taken. At 14.00h the vet arrived at our home, you didn't even get up, it

seemed that you were absent, I gave you a rawhide and you started chewing

a bit, you didn't move when the vet gave you that first injection, you relaxed

and seemed very peaceful, the following injection made you tremble a little...

you had left us forever...

I'll never forget you my beloved Gos.

Marion - I know how much you loved Gos :f_pink:bighug

He was a very handsome dog, wasn't he? Those eyes are very sweet, too.

I can't believe it has been a year since you posted about his illness, and then when you finally had to let him go. Such a painful decision, but you know you did the right thing for him, and it sounds as if his last day was a good one.

Such sorrow, its always hard to do "the right thing" and its never easy to remember them, with love. He's waiting at the bridge for you to join him one day.

I'm so sorry. I know you still miss him every day. It's a very painful decision to let them go, but a kind decision.

He is running free at the bridge, chasing tennis balls and playing with many others. He has no pain.

God bless you.

What a handsome boy and what a kind expression on his face. Our FaeRae's anniversary was 1/6. It's been especially hard for her dad since they hd the closest bond.

Marion, I hope you can find comfort in sharing my belief that we WILL see them again. I'm so sorry for the loss of Gos.

I thank all of you for your feeling words...

I know that many of you have gone through the same tragedy, unfortunately

our beloved dogs don't live all the time we would love them to share our

lives...
