But 4 hours before her flight the CDC closed off all transports from 113 countries due to rabies concerns. Then covid hit. Borders finally opened this year and Gemma is on her way. There was a time when injured dogs could fly here, but not anymore. The vets here could determine that she may be carrying a foreign pathogen and send her back.
