When a beloved pet passes away, many of us struggle with the loss of a dear, loving presence, the loss of companionship and a true friend. Optional language appears in [brackets], including a request for forgiveness if the pet needed to be euthanized. Blanks are for including the pet’s name and the type of pet. What strikes me most is the phrase, "a sense of well-being."  Yes, that is exactly what a loved animal gives us.
