EmilyM Posted September 9, 2022 Share Posted September 9, 2022 We adopted our retired non-chaser Benji at the weekend. We originally went in for a small to medium dog but fell in love. He’s settling well, loves strokes and snoozing! It’s been a bit of a learning curve for me as my other dog (parents) is a Bichon Frise. I’m a bit nervous/unsure about introducing them! OH said he’s never been more in love with a dog which says a lot as he LOVES his parents dogs 😂 I’ve never had to train properly as my parents dog was small enough that you didn’t really notice when she jumped up so good job Benj is a quick learner! She and her husband fell in love with the hound; the hound fell in love with their leather couch. Milo and Gelsey send tail wags and polite butt sniffs to Benji. First day at the beach and playing with another dog (not just polite sniffs) yesterday and if possible he slept even more than usual today haha!
