As you run with the wind send a caress to wipe our tears. Gone but never forgotten. Loved forever. Run free with those who have gone before you. Greet all those that will follow. In our heart, though, they'll be bright and clear, as they always were. We feel blessed to have given her a forever home after her early racing life, although two years just leaves us feeling a little empty... So many memories made, but so many more taken away. We still feel him everywhere in our home. This is the first time in since 2004 that I have a single greyhound. Although his death was last year, his owner was recently convicted of killing him.
