Shannon
FYI - I Just found xylitol in listed the ingredients of Neutrogena Hydro Boost Hyaluronic Acid Face Serum, 17%, in a blue glass bottle with a dropper. Definitely something to avoid if your pets ever lick you.
NeylasMom
Ugh. I wish they would just ban Xylitol. It's being used more and more. I was scared to let Skye lick my birthday cake plate. The cake came from a local bakery without a list of ingredients and you just don't know. Anyway, thanks for posting this. I wouldn't have thought to check my skin products, but I will now. macoduck
Jen, I agree with you to just do away with xylitol. I was at a vet ER and saw a chihuahua who'd eaten some gum with xylitol in it. He didn't make it. And though the owner knew it was her fault for leaving her gum in her purse, there sat her open purse on the floor with several more packs of the gum in it. Why in the world would an artificial sweetener belong in a facial serum?
