ShebasMom Posted November 24, 2021 Share Posted November 24, 2021 Averitt, black female, almost 13 years old, passed away yesterday. Aggressive cancer throughout her body. Better a day early than a day late... Averitt was my dogsitter friend's heart hound. We exchange dogsitting services. She takes care of Sheba at my house when I travel, and I keep her two hounds at my house when she travels. She is down to one hound now, Voyage, almost 12. Averitt was such a sweet hound, and she slept with me every night whenever at my house, always crowding me but in a gentle way. We will miss her very much. She's at the Rainbow Bridge now.
