cleptogrey Posted November 8, 2021 Share Posted November 8, 2021 i purchased the breakaway collar- soft, safe and found it 1/2 dozen times in the yard. if your dog is not constantly wrestling it should stay on and if your dog wears a ton of tags(many do) you need not fret about the tags getting caught on anything. https://breakawaycollar.com i also use a simple buckle collar from Lupine. I love the price and variety. The 1/2" size fits up to 16", so if you have a female, this should work. i use the smallest tag possible, no name, just telephone numbers. the boomerang flat collar tag works only for the 1" size collars. they easily come off of the 1/2" size collars. macoduck Posted November 8, 2021 Share Posted November 8, 2021 I use the boomerang ID tags on adjustable, non-martingale, non-buckle collars. No dangling tags to worry about. If we go out then I can clip rabies etc. tags to it and leash up with the martingale.
