EllenEveBaz
We could free up more room for big, well-behaved dogs on flights by having the people who like to get drunk and raucous ride in cargo. palmettobug
More 747-Combis. KLM is probably the last airline to use them. Quote Current Crew: Gino-Gene-Eugene! EllenEveBaz
This was an Airbus. I've never been on a plane this big. Why does the "seat" in the pics look more like a walk-in bathtub? Is that a water bowl on the surface above/behind Lewis or something for humans? ramonaghan
We flew Singapore Airlines to Japan many years ago on an Airbus A380. Ah-ma-zing. A steamed hand towel upon departure and meal service. A fancy bound menu book. A half-pint of Ben and Jerry's for dessert. Free booze including their signature Singapore Sling. Perhaps most incredible of all: leg room. All in coach, mind you. This was with a tour group that I am sure got a great bulk rate. If you ever have the opportunity to fly with SA, do it! Now I love them even more. Quote Rachel with littermates Doolin and Willa, boss cat Tootie, and feline squatters Crumpet and Fezziwig. palmettobug
Yep, Singapore is renowned for their service and comfort. A lot of airlines have those "pods" for first and business class. It's a seat that lays flat, with IFE and little cubbies and everything. Just have to get up to use the head. 747-Combi would be great for those rowdy passengers--get the flight crew to drag them over to the cargo area, open the door, push them in!
