kudzu Posted July 19, 2021 Share Posted July 19, 2021 Texts from boyfriend yesterday morning: 1) "Su is crying"; 2) "Su is crying again" First text today: "Su came into the bedroom crying" My office is upstairs and our bedroom is downstairs. BF always sleeps in very late, like 2-3 PM late, but likes to have the bedroom door open. Clearly Su has learned to use this to her advantage. If she doesn't feel like coming upstairs to let me know she wants something, she just goes into our bedroom downstairs and whines to BF. She was one of our “two yutes” adopted right after they turned 3 yrs old. She was the baby of the family for over a decade, just following the other dogs’ lead. Those dogs have “aged out” ☹️ and Su is now an only dog. I think she is finally recognizing the power she has always had at her command.
