Registrations for Mountain Hounds 2021 are now open, This will be our 17th year (yes 17 years!!) that the best little event you will ever attend will be held. Mountain Hounds is in the beautiful Smoky Mountains of Gatlinburg TN! And we would love for you and your greyhound to join us! Princess and Buddy will be with me. I'm thinking of coming Wed. june 2nd. because with the hour time zone change it's an 8 hour trip without leaving the state. Tennessee is a looong state. I've got reservations at the Super 8 down the hill from the SJ. I may have to get Roman the Galoot to pull me up the hill by the end of the weekend, LOL. Current Crew: Gino-Gene-Eugene! The restrooms are closed. Due to the high number of attendees (as compared to Mountain Hounds Lite last year), use of the hotel's parking deck will only be on Thursday. The other activities have been moved down the hill a bit. There will be a big tent set up in a backyard. montgomery2524 Posted May 14, 2021 Share Posted May 14, 2021 20 MORE DAYS UNTIL MOUNTAIN HOUNDS!!! Rick is on his way back home from Gatlinburg, finalizing a few things. He said the hotel has 13 rooms available. He did not get specifics on which rooms, creekside or courtside. Sevier County mask mandate expired April 15th. They are no longer requiring masks to be worn. HOWEVER it is up to each store/restaurant to set their own rules. So if a shop/restaurant says wear a mask and you want to go in, respect their request. Rick said the ones he visited did not have a requirement. He did not have a problem finding gasoline. And by the time MHs rolls around the pipeline will be fully operational and gas stations back on track. Looking forward to seeing everyone!
