How many times a day is recommended? Are they given every day? A few times a week? How many days’ worth of carrots can be prepared and refrigerated at once? TIA!

I make it fresh for every meal but you can make it in advance. I give two dry tablespoons (then rehydrated) per meal. The guidance for a large dog (44-88lbs) is 1-2 tbsp daily, so I have probably been giving Buddy too much! Thanks for getting me to check!

Hmmm...   From what I remember of other people's usage, they usually give one or two TBLSP of rehydrated product every meal, but I think you just need to adjust the amount around your dog's individual response.  I also seem to remember folks making up about a week at a time.

When Rocket was visiting me, I gave him his carrots with each meal. I know I made up a days worth the night before and kept it in the frig, but I don’t recall how much. I am sure Don remembers.

I think we made 2 Tbsp of carrots in about 4-6 ounces of hot water.  I usually made it up each night and it just sat covered in a bowl on the counter.  I gave him half of that at each meal.

I found that it needed to be refrigerated if you made more than a day at a time, otherwise the bowl sitting out for more than a day would mold. Also, we did not add oil to it as the instructions said.  We never saw the need for the oil,

I put two heaping tablespoons in a cup and 1/2 of water.  Microwave, and then let sit until it makes a mush almost looking like grits.  That lasts me two or three days, in the frig, giving two tablespoons with each meal.  His poop is solid, shaped and easy to pick up clean.
