VW doesn't sell vans in the US anymore, and that's a shame. Their last one was a rebadged Chrysler Town & Country.

My parents had an El Camino back in the 70s. No giant chicken in the back, tho.

I believe GT'er jimsherriek has a Flex.

That's a shame. Many greyhound and galgo people use vans like VW or Mercedes. One day when my old as time Volvo dies... as if that will ever happen. The swedish tank is still going strong.

Sorry for butchering the english language. I try to keep the mistakes to a minimum.

I think I logged countless number of  miles pitching two greyhounds in the back seat of a Mazda Protage.  They'll live.  Get what YOU want.

I could accommodate three hounds in the back of a '99 Pontiac Grand Prix :D  I agree, get what you want.

It comes in a very highly rated hybrid!  30+ mpg is hard to beat for any size SUV.   With apparently very lttle, if any, loss of power,   It's also on our replacement list.   Also, as the Prius lover on GT I'll add that they now have a new AWD Prius.  I can fit 3 dogs in the back of my 2005 model with the seats down, and as much non-dog cargo as a small SUV.

Cool.  FWIF, my granddaughter has a Nissan Rogue.  I've had a few rides in it.  It's a nice ride.

Unless you want thr manual for the fun of it, modern automatics are not the gas wasters they used to be.

we find the paddle shifters work really well on crazy windey roads- so, maybe try a car out that has them? joe was shocked at how well they worked going both to and from silver city to the gila national site. people w/ SUVs were pale then they finally made it to the visitor's center- our odyssey should have failed that mission. nope- came out with a glowing review! and we have owned manuals for decades.
