JessaNow Posted April 30, 2020 Posted April 30, 2020 I have read posts about older greys having trouble going up and down stairs. I have the same problem with my 12 year old male. Has anyone found an effective way to help these dogs to negotiate the stairs? Quote
Time4ANap Posted April 30, 2020 Posted April 30, 2020 A lift assist harness or a Help Em Up harness is probably your safest way. A regular harness will not work - it needs to made to lift the dog without causing injury. Help Em Up has a measuring guide on their site and you customize the back part of the harness according to how far forward or back the penis sits on his body. Quote Camp Broodie. FiveRoooooers Posted May 1, 2020 Posted May 1, 2020 In a pinch, a folded bath or beach towel under their tuck will work. Quote Old Dogs are the Best Dogs. Thank you, campers.
