SpryJayhawk
My 8 y/o greyhound has a red bump at the top of one of his paw pads. It’s warm to the touch and sore if I rub it. Should I just monitor it for a few days or get a biopsy done? Thanks.
DocsDoctor
Could just be something like a blocked sebaceous cyst, could also be something that needs to come off. Personally I would ask the vet to take a look at it, especially if it is feeling sore. Hard to tell from your first photo,s but possible histiocytoma, a benign condition that will go away in a couple of months without treatment. That said, don't rely on us here for a diagnosis because it certainly could be something else. Check with your vet. cleptogrey
I agree, nail looks like it is rubbing. Yup, some of us try to keep our dog's nails short and this is what one gets! This is exactly what Felix had when I was diligent in dremeling those nails.
