Coat Advice from the Great North?

Dear all Canadians and near-Canadians!  We are moving from Denver to Bismarck, North Dakota, and I would like to ask for recommendations for some serious winter coats.  Could you please let us know your favorites?  Our hound runs hot, but his wee mutt brother does not, and with the move, we are upgrading their cold weather gear.

Chilly Dogs!

We have the fleece sweaters for not-too-COLD and the Great White  North for CCCold weather.

All their stuff comes in 'Long and Lean' styles for sighthounds. Lasts forever!

I know they are out of 26" fleecies at their factory, but they are in production.

K9 Voyager is my favorite. They have breed specific coats that are very well made.

Mom to Ranger (PB's Long Ranger), Esso (Kiowa Stay Over) and Cookie the rattie mix

Missing Kahn (Gil's Khan) 10-29-03 - 11-7-16  Belle (Regall Belooow) 8-9-07 - 3-12-17  Star (Greyt Star) 1-19-07 - 3-13-2020  Pitch (Emerald Pitch) 4-1-08 - 6-3-2020

Here in Maine, we use the Maine rescue organization's coats - http://www.chrisanthemums.com. Lots of choices in styles and colors and specifically made for the greys.  We use the regular fleece most of the time, but we do have a polar fleece ultrex coat with a fleece snood for when it's really nasty out.

If they seem like something you'd like, please consider ordering from them.  Like most rescues, they've been bringing dogs up from Florida almost weekly and could use the money.   The fleece is nice and they are good quality.  Also they come in 4 sizes.

You might consider the Voyager boots as well, since snow and ice is more of an issue.  Check out items by RuffWear too, as they are very well made and fit greyhounds reasonably well.

Great, thanks everyone!  We have a chilly dogs fleece, in a size much bigger than 26, and it's the only coat he'll walk in because it doesn't feel restrictive when walking.  His little mutt brother has boots, and it's still the funniest thing we get to see all year.

warmer, much warmer than the voyager coats are the winter coats made to order by SUE'S HAPPY TAILS.  felix had one that was berber lined with faux fur and a chest panel, long double thick snood. he could only wear it when it was below 15 degrees out. it's pictured below. annie is wearing 2 coats, felix toasty warm in sue's handiwork.  sue's prices are quite reasonable and she knows about cold being located in Buffalo, NY.1621986_728029050549747_1155086552_n.jpg

Another Chilly Dogs fan here.  As long as you take time to measure according to their size chart, the coats fit well.  They come in a good selection of colours and they wear very well.  We still have one of their original design coats (like a horse blanket with the velcro underneath).

Another vote for Chilly Dogs. I'm still using the coat I bought for Edie in about 2007, give or take a year.

Do the chrysanthemum coats have a chest panel?  They do not appear to on the website pics, but I want to double check that.
