We boarded Chowder (using their food) and noticed a small weight gain and firmer poop. Also, has anyone tried mixing Nutrisource with other dry food, since it is pricey? Thanks!! Daks Posted August 27, 2019 Share Posted August 27, 2019 We used to feed it, but since the whole DCM thing, we switched to Purina. My 3 hounds all do well on it. With the DCM situation I tried switching to Purina Pro Plan. Did it slow and tried 3 different flavors, every one of them had soft poo during this change. One did not really like to eat it. So back to Nutri- source off label and all is good again. Per the FDA report, there were 10 complaints against Nutrisource, it doesn't state which formulas, but regardless they're not WSAVA.
