You might check her pedigree for a dog with an "*" after it's name on Greyhound Data. I don't recall any particular Irish links in her background, though there may well be. At least one other litter mate of Mo's had a cute little Mohawk. Ha! About 4 different Irish dogs on her lineage page on Greyhound-Data. I heard the real reason for that crest is that when the dog was born, God ruffled its fur and said appreciatively, "Oh, that's a good one." His sire was Australian and those ancestors were unfamiliar to me. On his dam's side I had to look back a little way to find familiar names, Pecos Cannon and further back Westy Whizzer.
