greysmom
I talked with our vet about Proheart 6 last week, after she had investigated herself about it's safety and efficacy. She believes that this new formulation should be safe for most dogs, though she would not give it to some immuno-compromised patients. The researcher she spoke with said if you can give a dog normal vaccines, Proheart6 should be all right for them to take. I imagine it would be similar for the 12 month product. Plus I like that it works on hookworm, too. It might be a good tool for the nasty drug-resistant ones going around now.
